What areas do you serve?

We serve Omro, Wisconsin, and the surrounding areas...But Miss Broom's Trash Can Rescue, doesn't do pick-ups!!! (Drop-off only!!!)

What do, you do?! And, what type of animals, do you care for?!

I am Rose WhiteOwl, the Caretaker & Rehabber!!! 

We are a small hobby rescue, runned out of a residential home!!! It's non-profit!!! I use my own money & any donations, to keep up with care...I have over 25+ years; working with Wild & Exotic animals, through my family...

I rehabilitate, minor wildlife; such as squirrels, rabbits, ducklings, some smalls native birds, field mice & opossums...Rarely, Skunks or Racoons!!! (I personally, don't enjoy dealing; with them, so I pass the information, onto other individuals...)

Alot of baby orphans!!! And young adult animals, that got into alittle trouble...

I also, take in; some Domestic Animals, mainly birds (Various sizes) & small mammals!!!

Rarely, cats or dogs!!! (Due to size; if their a small dog, or a puppy?! Maybe?! Every 'GREAT' Moon!!! I Might, take one or 2 in...It's NOT often!!! 

I will NOT take in!!! Reptiles, Fish, Insects and Amphibians...The tanks, just takes up; too much room and eats up, alot of electricity...

I also; take care of permanent residence, that are Family!!! I have quite afew, Elderly individuals!!! The Oldest; is a 17yr old Black lab & he's alot of work, to care for...

NOTICE:

Miss Broom's Trash Can Rescue is a small hobby rehab & in-home sanctuary!!! It's non-profit, everything comes out of my own pocket & any donations!!! We don't do pick-ups!!! And, we will NEVER adopt out; any Wild Animals, to the public!!! (Must be a Licenced Rehabber; or hold an Exotics Permit, for non-releasables...Granted!!! Some species; don't require it, in the State of Wisconsin...) We don't take in a 'LARGE CAPACITY OF ANIMALS' or 'SERIOUS MEDICAL CASES?!' (If it's a 'LIFE THREATENING,' injury or illness!!!)

 For more 'SERIOUS CASES!!!' Please contact; a Licenced Wildlife Rehab Center, in your county!!! Or you can visit; the local DNR's website, for general listings...For Domestic Pets; call your Local Animal Shelter, or Humane's Society for intake, that's better equipped medically or for any larger animals...
